This is called the Raketti. (Rocket) I tried this once, the first time I went to Linnanmäki and that was enough for me. It's scary when it just shoots up and then it comes down suddenly and hangs in the middle for a while.
As you can see, the legs are left dangling out. It is 60m in height and has a seating capacity for 12. The ride lasts 2.5s.

I've been on something like this once as well. I think the scariest part is when they throw you up in the air!
