This is an older version of parking meters here in Finland. Don't usually see this kind of meters in most places here.

here in the UK they are now using CCTV to photograph parking offenders and issuing tickets by posts!
we dont have parking meters here in mumbai. it is done manually. there are parking lot attendants who will punch out a slip stating the time you have parked and will come back and charge you the appropriate amount when you leave.
